After I got out of work I decided to see how long I could fish before the forcasted thunderstorms rolled in. It was a beautiful day and the rain never came, so I had time to catch a few bass. Didn't get the one that got away this trip though. |

I spent a few hours fishing around Tower Hill Pond and found a nice spot full of bass. It was a pretty good catch and release day, but I picked up a tick too. Make sure to check for these parasites whenever you wander around in the woods. |

I thought I was done for the year, but when my sister and her boyfriend came out to visit from Utah I figured I'd give it one last trip. We hit a spot by my parents' house just to get our lines wet before dinner. We caught a few largemouth, talked about past fishing trips around the world, and regrets about not fishing other places when we had the chance. It wasn't a bountiful trip, but it was a terrific end to the season; filled with nostalgia and inspiration for next year to get me through the winter. |

We went to Tower Hill to see if we could catch some bass, but the water was down about ten feet. We walked the bottom where the fish are normally and picked up a few lures, but didn't have much luck catching fish. |
