bearcane reviewed the location Bellamy River.
The Bellamy is lightly stocked at Rt.155 in Madbury. I have been clearing some of the bank for better access but there is a lot of poison ivy. The river bed is favorable for trout with lots of food. Creek Chub will take your bait before the trout do.

bearcane reviewed the location "packers Falls"the Lamprey .
I lived on the Lamprey in Newmarket and had a small canoe. The coves in the area offer some great bass fishing using black or red shad worms Texas rigged. There's also real fun fly fishing using poppers around the pads.

scout1 reviewed the location Merrymeeting Lake.
Boat size doesn't make the day, opportunity and being in the right place at the right time using the right bait will land you the biggest fish that day. 5lb. rainbow 30' down on a trolling fake rubber minnow between cove points. 6lb. bass, night crawler in a 8' hole so black. It had 4 lines of rubber worms and gear on its face but was still a good eat! Late afternoon was my best day.

scout1 reviewed the location Northwood Lake.
Loaded with white perch, that is the 5 star rating. There is a 38" great grandpa pike in the pool behind that penninsula of cottages. It will chase anything and likely devours ducks. I hooked it and fought for 12minutes. It is huge, let it go after exhausting my senses. Good bassing. South most end behind island was dismal but I see many boats go there. Most any lure works and my preference is a Rapala 3" minnow, killer action!

scout1 reviewed the location Pleasant Lake.
Fall fishing is outstanding for the large brook, rainbow, brown trout. South east shore produces trout. Rocky point has a cold spring that the biggins congregate to. Choppy water, a big fish bowl, hit it early day or mid to late afternoon for best fishing.

Side Imaging Fishfinders

Side imaging fishfinders provide a precise view of a wider area of water, including bottom topography and the orientation of underwater structures. Normally side imaging sonar can sweep an area 480 feet wide, with a typical depth of up to 100 ft. Side imaging transducers also provide down imaging views. The depth that signals can penetrate are affected by such factors as boat speed, bottom hardness, water conditions, waves, and transducer installation.
