Review: Went this morning. Fished from the bridge as this is the only spot i can find. First cast caught a large mouth that was maybe 2lbs. Almost every cast came back with a bite or a tiny large mouth on it.

Review: The shore fishing here is excellent. There are trails and paths all along the perimeter in either direction and after a few years of fishing them I have not reached an end. Once you leave the well travelled routes it is very peaceful and there seems to be a fish waiting to be caught anywhere you cast. I'd recommend packing light because it is a bit of a walk to get in and even further on the trails if you want to cover some shoreline. It's adviseable not to eat more than two fish meals from here per month because of the "higher than average" levels of mercury in the fish, but for catch and release it's one of my favorite spots in the Manchester area.

Review: One of the most beautiful places to hike, ride a bike or even horseback in southern NH. As for a fishery, NHFG stocks the pond every year with loads of trout. Brown, rainbows and Brook are stocked but are hard to hook into once they spread out. I've heard there are some HUGE leftover Browns but haven't hooked into one. I did catch some healthy Rainbows and Brookies as well as some good size LM Bass. But I never have caught a Pickerel, Calico or Perch out of this water that is said to have them. If you do fish here you will have to hike in about a half mile. I recommend using a canoe or kayak dolly if you plan on taking one. Definitely need a boat for this place.
