  • Type of Fish: Calico Bass(White Crappie)
  • Fish Length (Avg): 11 inches
  • Fish Length (Max): 13 inches
  • Fish Weight (Max): 1 lbs. 5 oz.
  • Bait Details: any color but depth and location was everything
  • Location Details: caught several just vertical jigging, but casting and letting sink to the bottom at 25 ft. and reeling slowing was the trick

  • Yeah I'd say we did good considering the odds and the fact that the pattern changed and we were the only boat on the lake...But we did have a blast and I think I speak for all of us when I say "Lets Go Again"..ASAP....

  • I'm with you there. Not having to measure them is always a sweet thing. Hopefully they keep up the biting, even it ends tomorrow. Spring is just around the corner

  • btw...those r great lookin crappie u got there meloyd. isnt winter fishing the best. dont have to measure just pull the slabs in the boat and put on the stringer!!!!

  • sooo cold this mornin and had to bust more ice than last trip, but definitly once we found the pattern it was all worth it. im ready to go again!!!
