Souhegan River - Wilton, NH Fishing Report

Souhegan River - Old Overpass

Yet another section of the Souhegan River, by an old Rt.101 overpass onto Intervale Rd.
Decent parking, well off to the side of Rt.101.

Most of the tips I have gotten say that the areas between and just above/below the two overpasses is one of those "catch your limit in a hour or less" kind of spots.
I have only had luck much further upstream, though I have seen a slew of fish come out of the previously mentioned spot... just not on my lines.

(To cut down on the amount of Hotspot clutter, I don't list Bluegill or Fallfish catches unless they are a potential record.)

Location Details: I definitely had to walk a ways upstream for this one.
Look for the very large boulders and the fairly deep, dark pools that have formed around and between them.
