Kayak up the North East side toward the marina, lots of cover several small bass. Nothing big but had the first one within 5 minutes after lauching. Then crossed over to the point on the easterly point in the grass area caught a nice 3 lb bass on a worm on the first cast was sweet hit a fight. Once landed had a hard time removing the hook. Saw a lot of fish rising to the surface and lots of feathers and bugs on the surface of the water. A hatch was going on the insects just appeared on top of the water surface and tried to fly off some were stuck to the old carcass and the fish were sucking them in. Switched to the fly rod on the first cast caught a 1+ lb bass, but nothing after that. Didn't have a fly that match the ones on the surface used the madam x parachute. all in all good day
