Firehouse Pond Description

Trout stocking is beginning, and the fish look great this year. Big, thick rainbows, beautiful brookies and powerful browns will soon be lying in wait for your fly, lure or worm. As an added bonus, a number of brood stock brown trout will be stocked in our area of the state this year. These are 4-5 lb. fish and will be an incredible trophy for some lucky anglers. These fish will be scattered throughout southwestern NH into lakes and ponds that normally receive stocked brown trout. Put some new line on your reel and get out there.

There is no minimum length limit for brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, and their hybrids. From April 1 through September 30, the combined daily limit for lake trout, salmon, brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout and their hybrids is 4 fish, of which no more than 2 fish may be lake trout and/or salmon. From January 1 to March 31, the combined daily limit for lake trout, brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout and their hybrids is 2 fish.
