bagdafish Thought my wife and I should take advantage of the nice evening and stick close to home. Guy at the launch (6pm) said the bite had been hot and the water temp was pushing 70. Well...he was right! Slow to start so we motored to the far shore near the island channel. My wife's 1st cast landed a small largemouth then I had a blast throwing a worm wacky style. This bruiser was pushing 5 pounds...and what a fight! Then it was like a switch was thrown...nothing till sundown when we left. Hope to get on the water Sunday if Ma Nature allows it.
