Lake Horace Description

Horace Lake is formed by Weare Reservoir Aka Horace Lake on the Piscataquog River in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1913. It has a normal surface area of 323 acres. It is owned by Nh Water Reservoirurces Council. Directions: Rt 114 to Page Hill Rd to Reservoir Drive. Horace Lake is easily accessible. A public ramp, town park and parking area are available. A small fee is charged for the park and parking, but launching is free. Average ice-out is late April.
