So i thought i'd try and hammer em like Chauncey has all summer and head out to Heads Pond. What a walk! I must say it's a very lovely location.

took a break from the BBQ to try this little pond i heard about from a guy at the party. smacked this guy on a top water popper at sundown. he inhaled it! i think the chunk missing from his lip was from a snapper

stopped off before heading home from Maine to my favorite smallie spot. grabbed this guy within 15 minutes.
sadly, the fishing community lost one of it's own Friday afternoon.

renewed my Maine permit this weekend and headed up north for the holiday. I heard of a pond that was supposed produce consistant lunkers. I was not mislead!

woke up and drove out to Wilton to try and finish up the season. the wind was whipping in all directions across the pond. i got a few smacks on a wacky rig and just before i left i loaded up my motor oil jig with rage summer craw trailer and hammered a monster! best day i've had this year!
