Comment: I bring my son to sumner brook here in middletown CT.Lots of stocked brookies and NATIVES!! We let most of the natives go to help keep their population strong!

Comment: nothing compares to the colors of a native brook trout. they are truly a beautiful fish. i've been fortunate to have caught this species stream fishing in colorado, western pa, new hampshire as well as the stocked ones in mass. the natives tend to be on the small side and are tougher to trick than your typical hatchery raised ones.

Comment: To me this is one of my favorite fish to catch as well, great tasting, favorite method is fly fishing for them on my 3WT, wish they would get a lot bigger in Idaho
